ABOUT US

Founded in 1994 by a group of dedicated parents, The Woodford Educational Endowment Foundation's mission to ensure that innovative, high-quality education is delivered to public school students throughout Woodford County Public Schools.

With the generous supports of its sponsors, WEEF strives to meet unfunded classroom needs. Through the years, WEEF has given over $300,000 to Woodford County Public Schools to fund technology in the classroom, access to the arts, and teacher Mini-Grants. Projects are chosen in cooperation with the administration of Woodford County Public Schools and the Woodford County School Board.

Funding for WEEF projects comes from private donations and the generous sponsors of the annual WEEF golf tournament. The golf tournament, which is held in June, is an 18 hole event with a Sudden Death Shootout, is hosted by City National Bank.
